We invite you to participate in the 2nd annual Holy Savior Menard: Jingle All the Way 5k and 1 mile kids fun run! We had such a wonderful time last year and we hope that this year will be even better! This will be a exciting day for the entire family that involves good food, holiday festivities, and of course a race through the beautiful Alexandria Lake District. We hope that family members of all ages can participate whether it is in one of the races or simply to come out and support the Holy Savior Menard Track and Field program. We will have Jamabalya for sale, a cookie decoration contest, holiday face-painting, and a sleighride for the entire family!
The cost will be $35 for each entry into the 5k race and $20 for the kids running in the 1 mile fun run. Only those who have registered before November 21st at 6:00 PM will recieve an event shirts. Registration will continue however through December the 2nd, and race day registration will be available with an additional $10 fee.
If you are unable to run in the race but would like to make a donation to the Track and Field program here at Holy Savior Menard we would greatly appreciate it! You can Venmo the program (@HSM-Athletics), make sure you put "HSM Jingle all the Way 5k" in the memo line!
The 5k route will be filled with holiday cheer provided by the student body groups of Holy Savior Menard in the form of Christmas Carols, music, and other forms of entertainment! We have improved lighting and course maintenance for the entirety of the course this year and greatly looking forward to having an awesome experience! The kids participating in the 1 mile race, which will take place around the HSM track, will once again be building a holiday ornament that they will be able to take home and place on their Christmas Tree. Sovineirs will also be available for purchase throughout the afternoon!
If you cannot participate in the race this year but would still like to make a donation to support these awesome athletes for their season we have also set up a variety of ways to do so that are included here as well!
